Online Masterji: Enterprise EdTech Platform

The Challenge

The primary challenge was to architect a solution that balances "Enterprise Performance" with "Startup Economics." Standard cloud solutions (AWS/Azure) were too expensive for the target market, and existing open-source LMS platforms were too heavy for students using budget Android devices on 3G/4G networks. We needed a system capable of handling thousands of concurrent users without crashing, all while keeping the infrastructure cost under ₹4,000/month.

The Solution

We engineered a custom "Smart-Scale" architecture on Alibaba Cloud (Mumbai Region). The backend utilizes Laravel 11 with Redis queues to handle asynchronous video processing. We implemented a hybrid storage strategy using Object Storage (OSS) for security and BunnyCDN for ultra-low-cost video streaming. For the frontend, we are building a Progressive Web App (PWA) interface that minimizes data consumption through aggressive caching and adaptive bitrate streaming.

The Result

The project is currently in the Alpha phase. We have successfully deployed the core infrastructure with a "Lean Auto-Scaling" setup that costs just $46/mo while supporting up to 500 concurrent users. The initial "Desi AI" prototype for transcribing lectures into Hinglish is functional, and the payment gateway integration is underway for the upcoming pilot launch.
